Hello all!
It’s been a while, and for that I apologize. However, I have good news! I’m targeting publication in 4-6 weeks!
So here’s what’s left to do. I’m expecting the finalized cover art later this week, and I’m so excited to reveal it to you all! My artist has done great work, and I’m hoping to get the chance to work with her again in the future. Apart from the cover art, I’ve got another artist (and a close friend) working on a map for the front papers. It was a hard choice whether or not the book needed a map, but nearly all of my Beta Readers agreed it would be useful.
I’ve still got a bit of formatting to do on the book, and will do a last round of copy editing. Aside from that, there’s basically nothing left to do.
I’ve started plotting out my next book, too, as something to do in my spare time. I’m already thrilled by the story, and the new characters within. I’ve got plans for a 3rd book too, though that’s still a good ways off.
Keep an eye out here in the weeks to come. In the next post, I hope to have a concrete date for the publication, and a reveal of the cover art.
